One of the applications that are expected to have this mode officially soon is Facebook, which has been deploying it among its users for a few weeks . Although most users of the social network have to wait to have it. This is not the case for users of Facebook Lite, the lightweight version of the application.

This weekend has begun the deployment of the dark mode for Facebook Lite . Users of this version of the social network, lighter and with some less functions , can finally enjoy the dark mode in the latest version of the application.


Dark mode for Facebook Lite

The dark mode is available in the side menu of the application, by pressing the three horizontal stripes in the upper right of the screen. There the dark mode section is already introduced , next to a switch, which allows the activation of this mode in Facebook Lite. Although it has to be done manually, it is not possible to program it.

It is not a completely dark mode, since the screen gets a dark gray color in this case . The entire interface of the application becomes this color, both the feed, the profile and its menus. So far it seems that the deployment of this mode in the application is going smoothly and works correctly.

Facebook Lite is well ahead of the normal version of Facebook when it comes to getting this dark mode. In January the dark mode began to reach some users of the social network, but it is something that has been limited to few users. In addition, this deployment has not been without problems, since in some cases the dark mode was partial and was not implemented in the entire application interface.


While it reaches users now in Lite, we have no dates for deployment in the normal version of the social network. If you use this version of the social network, it is possible that this dark mode is not shown yet, the deployment is being carried out in a phased way worldwide.
