Facebook customized to your liking
Once Frost is installed on our Android phone, we will have to log in to the Facebook account we want to use. After logging in, we are shown some of the functions we have available in the app. In addition, we are allowed to choose the theme we want to use, with options such as Light, Dark, AMOLED or Crystal (transparent background). This already gives us the possibility to customize the appearance of the application.
Within the Frost settings, which we access by clicking on the gear icon, we can access a series of additional configuration options. We have a large number of themes, being able to create our own themes , thus changing the color of the background, that of the text or colors of the icons, for a complete customization of Facebook. Elements such as notifications can also be configured to our liking.
The news feed on the social network does not usually show the news chronologically , something that is annoying for many users. Thanks to Frost we can use a more aggressive recent mode, which allows you to view news and posts from friends based on their publication date, so that it is more comfortable and logical for us. This is possible in the news section within the configuration. In addition, you can remove options such as Friend suggestions from this section.
The application also supports the use of a fingerprint sensor to enter it, being able to configure this option if we wish. In addition, there is another section where we can configure the behavior of the application, customizing functions such as PiP mode in videos, if we want the feed to be updated automatically or if we want. All these elements help to make the user experience better, better fit what we want.
Frost is therefore presented as a good way to use Facebook on Android, but can customize a large number of elements , such as themes or some of its functions. Therefore, for many, it is surely presented as an application that overcomes those deficiencies that the original social network has.
