Google confirms: so you can upload your own music to YouTube Music
YouTube Music is recently YouTube's latest music service, a service that has made Google Play Music go to the background, losing popularity and marking the beginning of the end for the old music application.
One of the biggest concerns among Play Music users was what would happen to my music cloud . Would Google stop allowing me to have my own music with the application change? It seems that it is not, and Google has already confirmed what was an open secret: you can upload your music to YouTube Music .
One of our favorite features of Google Play Music is the ability to upload your own songs. This feature is a free cloud that allows us to upload a library of up to 10,000 songs that we had.
Today there were references in the YouTube Music application that indicated that Google was working on the function. Now, finally, Google has officially confirmed the existence of this function with something that makes its arrival imminent.
The Google help and support page has included a section called " Upload your music" where Google explains how to upload our music in FLAC, M4A, MP3, OGG and WMA formats , as explained by Google:
Add your own personal music collection to your YouTube Music library by uploading your songs and music albums. Once your music is uploaded on youtube, you can use YouTube Music to play your uploaded music as part of your listening experience.
At this time it is not possible to upload your music to the platform, but on the help page they already explain how we can upload our music . Initially it seems that we can only upload them from the computer, since Google specifies that music uploads cannot be completed in the mobile application. From the computer we will have two options.
Once one of the two steps is done, a progress bar will appear indicating the status of the upload and a message confirming the applications that have been uploaded. Google warns that once we have uploaded the music it may take a while until it remains available in our library.
